University undergrads in a course on Civic Engagement that asked them to reflect on their internship experience

The cool thing is that some kids obviously thought this was too "touchy-feely" or "new age" even at discussion's end, but it recurred again and again in later class conversations and in their personal reflections and final projects. So it has "sticking" potential.

I should have asked them whether their internship model used a "helping," "fixing," or "serving" model: duh!
