In February 2012, over 20 educators participated in a Civic Reflection for Educators workshop and received training in facilitating reflective discussions both as pedogogy for their classrooms and as models for civic engagement and service-learning.
Feedback from the participants was very positive. Participants mentioned that the workshop provided them with "helpful tools for structuring discussion[s]" and that civic reflection is "a valuable resource that may be implemented in a variety of environments."
This workshop is part of the Teachers' Inquiry Project (TIP), a CCR partner, and is offered 1-2 times a year. If you are an educator and want to learn more, please contact us!Edit Back to News & Events
