Description

Adam Davis is the Director of the Center for Civic Reflection. Davis gave this keynote address at Loyola University at Chicago in January 2011 to faculty and staff from a variety of disciplines. This speech raises questions about teaching and learning, talks about civic reflection as a pedagogical method, and discusses why civic reflection is a worthwhile practice for teachers and for students. An interactive address, Davis also asks faculty and staff to reflect on their own teaching goals and to draw upon their own learning experiences throughout the speech.
